Now you've discovered your Body, Mind and Soul/Spirit is Connected.

Now what?

Mind:

   Like our bodies, our minds need daily exercise.  You've heard the old saying "If you don't use it, you'll lose it."

 

   By not challenging your little gray cells of brain matter you can actually create loss of memory "road" loss.  Those moments of "I used to know that." 

 

   But I'm also sure that you've had those moments where you faced with complex puzzles -- you know what I mean, a project that you've been working on for hours or days and you just knew the solution was staring right at you.  Then all of a sudden -- BAM -- there it is -- clear as day!!  Yes!!  A new thought pattern opened up simply by working the brain muscles.  You opened a new "road."

 

   Mind Exercises:

·         Crossword Puzzles or Mind Puzzles

·         Learning New Tasks -- Or Add a New Angle to an Old One

·         Taking a Class,

·         Take up a New Hobby

·         Reading a Book, for the 1st Time

·         Plan a Trip -- doesn't mean you have to go

·         Be Creative!!

Babies are born with very active brains that stay active until about the age 5-6 years old...that's when specific thought patterns start to emerge.  Repetitive thought patterns continue to decrease brain activity until something new comes along.   That's when a new thought pattern has opened up in your brain -- some call that an Ah-Ha moment.  Create that Ah-Ha Moment!
