Side Note from Dr. Wanda:

The above list does not include all the places I've visited or the things I've accomplished, it's what I could remember while creating this page.  Some of my travels were with family, friends or just by myself.

For example in 1996 I came to a cross-roads in my life...a time when I was transitioning.  That's when I decided to take a self-discovery journey around the world, by myself.  My Goal: To ride an Elephant.  Where better than in India.  So, I packed a bag and headed east.  The journey took just a little over two months.  I visited great friends, met new ones.  Made discoveries in various counties I never heard of and learned things about myself only solitude could create.

I create a journal for each journey I take -- I feel there's nothing worse than forgetting the wonderful little tidbits of discovery in our lives.  My ultimate goal for my journals -- when I can no longer travel, I want to be able to relive those moments in time again, through my own writings and bore some folks with my photos.
